Our Team

We are both incredibly passionate about media, drama and writing and our diverse backgrounds and areas of expertise (TV, advertisement, law, digital media, written media) set us apart from other companies.

Founder - Marie Mayingi

Marie (aka Hepburn Hooks)  is a jack of all trades!

She has been writing and making music her whole life, and after focusing on poetry and prose and getting featured in publications such as Nick Makoha and Amira Ghanim’s ‘Best British and Irish Poets 2019-2021’ anthology as well as the very first edition of Troublemaker Firestarter, an LGBTQ+ poetry chapbook, and New World Theatre’s ‘08:46’, an anthology centred on Black experiences, Marie decided to fully commit to playwriting.

Since 2021, in parallel to her English Law and French Law LLB at the University of Exeter, she has led a prolific playwriting career, getting her plays workshopped and performed in London at the Barons Court Theatre and the Pleasance, as well as all over the US (notably in Pennsylvania, California, Arizona, Florida and Illinois), by professional theatre companies and university troupes alike. Having lived in France, England and Greece has allowed her to develop a multicultural approach to her craft and build a solid network with creatives from all over Europe and the US.

Marie is currently reading Writing at the Royal College of Art in London, where she was awarded the Sir Frank Bowling Scholarship.

Creative Director - Dimitris Dimarelos

Hailing from Greece, with a solid baggage in creative direction, game design and (political) cartoon creation, Dimitris is the creative heartbeat of the team when it comes to visual arts.

His skills range from branding, storyboarding, graphic design, UI/UX, to video editing, among other things. Dimitris’ work as a storyboarding artist and editorial cartoonist has been heavily featured on Greek TV and in magazines of diverse styles. After studying a BA (Hons) in Game Design and an MA in Design and Visual Communication at the University of Central Lancashire, Dimitris went on to work as a political cartoonist for two popular news websites, iefimerida.gr and thepressproject.gr. In 2018, he became McVictor and Hamilton’s Lead Artist, and has been elaborating on MANCODE magazine’s art, one of the best-selling publications in Greece, while he is also the Lead Brand Designer of Archvillain Games, an industry leader in 3D collectibles and Dungeons & Dragons supplements.

Dimitris is also incredibly passionate about theatre and film, having studied Drama at Parathlasi Theatre from 2013 to 2015, in Thessaloniki, Greece.
